From the very beginning, Pit Liquor founders Jason and Erica Feucht have been passionate about sustainability. Locally sourced ingredients, glass bottles, recycling, and low carbon emissions have been part of Pit Liquor’s growth at every step.

As a company, we see that our actions have larger ripples because of the scale of our impact. We want to do our part to make sure each of our choices makes the world a better, brighter place.

Us too. All Pit Liquor bottles, from rollers to sprays to refills, are glass bottles. Plastic is a terrible choice for our planet while glass is recyclable and can be broken down because it's made from silica and biodegrades. 

You might have noticed that our caps are still plastic. We want to find a way around the necessity of the plastic cap, and we're working on it. In the meantime, the caps are all re-useable when you fill up with a Refill bottle, so you can still avoid single-use plastic by reducing and re-using!

Packaging For The Planet

We strive for sustainability from start to finish, including the packaging. We ship our bottles in fully recyclable packages so you aren't throwing a single piece in the trash to rot in a landfill forever. When you receive your PL goodies, you'll find them wrapped neatly in craft paper and nestled in biodegradable packing peanuts. These bio peanuts are made from natural, plant based starches that dissolve in water, so simply wash them down your sink!

1. Buy a Refill Bottle

Purchasing a Refill of your favorite scent allows you to fill up your 50ml bottle SEVEN TIMES. Even better—your Refill bottle doesn’t just save the planet, it also saves you time and money. Last year Pit Liquor sold over 2,000 Refill bottles, saving 10.3 tons of CO2 emissions from entering the atmosphere. That’s a reason to celebrate. 

2. Recycle

If you've been a customer for a while, send your used bottles back to us!

1. Gather 5 bottles from previous orders

2. Clean the bottles (a quick rinse will do!)

3. Send them to us (you pay shipping) and please enclose the email address and name you used on your orders so we can reach out with a discount code for your next order.

4. Once we receive your order, we’ll send you a code to use on a future order!
